“Miri” is a first season episode of Star Trek: The Original Series, that was first broadcast October 27, 1966, and repeated June 29, 1967. The crew discover a planet ruled only by children.

The Colony
The Colony is a reality television program. The series takes place over the course of ten weeks and was filmed in an industrial area bordering the Los Angeles River on the edge of downtown Los Angeles, and follows ten volunteers in an environment that simulates life after a global catastrophe. The series first aired on the Discovery Channel on July 21, 2009.
Battle Royale
Battle Royale is a ultra violent Japanese film. They basically trick school kids into thinking they are going on a nice school trip. Instead its a scheme called ‘The Program’ which involves them wearing exploding collars and having to fight until one student is standing. So its not so tribe related.
Battle Royale 2 plays more on the theme of the children against the adults. Children who have been in the program escape and form a resistance to fight the adults and spread the message of freedom to teenagers worldwide. Its also set in a world ravaged by war and feels very post-apocalyptic.
